Mental Health Awareness – raising awareness around mental health issues is something that is very important to me. I am proud to be a part of a company which puts this to the fore and demonstrated this commitment with the initiative to provide Mental Health first aid training to IPC employee volunteers. Work environments can naturally be a stressful place, and a negative environment can actively compound other stresses or issues people are dealing with in their personal lives. Having a healthy work environment where employees feel comfortable and have someone to talk to (whether about work or anything else) makes a significant difference in peoples’ lives.
