        Dr. Walter Otto has been an audiologist for over 25 years. He was awarded his doctorate from the University of Utah. He is board certified in both Audiology and in Hearing Instrument Sciences. He performed an internship at the Mayo Clinic, and a fellowship at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. Among the good Doctor's many other accomplishments: Held faculty positions at four universities and the Navy Aero-space Medicine Institute. Published articles in numerous medical and audiological journals, and made numerous guest appearances on radio and television. President of the Utah Audiology Society, the Naval Audiology Society, and the Military Audiology Association. Voted by the Naval Audiology Society, Audiologist of the year 1995.

        Comprehensive Hearing Assessments Performed with up-to-date equipment, we can evaluate your outer, middle and inner ear. Test results will be clearly explained to you, as will our recommendations. If a medical problem is suspected, the audiologist will refer you to your family physician for consultation. A complete report will promptly be forwarded to your doctor at your request. Hearing Loss Counseling for Clients and Families: Listening strategies are very important to maximize hearing in more difficult environments. We can suggest many simple techniques to get the most out of each listening situation with or without your hearing aids. We are also dedicated to providing counseling for families of people with hearing loss, so they can be supportive and more effective in their communication strategies with their loved ones. House Calls: For patients unable to leave their residence, we are equipped to provide complete audio logical services in the comfort of your home or hospital room. Hearing Aid Loaner Program: Should it be necessary to send your hearing aid out of the office for repairs, we are happy to loan you a hearing aid at no charge! Wide Selection of Hearing Aids, including extended wear and digital instruments We offer all styles and technologies. Full Hearing Aid Services: Come in and have your hearing aids serviced. This may involve anything from a thorough cleaning to fine tuning/reprogramming, to repair.

        Dr. Otto is Board Certified an...

        Dr. Otto is Board Certified and has his Doctorate in Audiology. His hearing assessments are more thorough than the quick screen you may receive from other Hearing Specialists. I have needed a hearing aid for my bad ear more than 10 years now. As a business professional I began having difficulty hearing effectively in group and large meetings and learned it was time to get an aid for my better ear. I recently purchased a new set of Oticon hearing aids and immediately noticed a positive difference. Music was improved and no more problems with my group meetings. If you need aids for both ears, I strongly recommend investing in a matching set of aids which have the newest in technology.

        I have been seeing Dr. Otto for almost 7 years. He is competent, precise, well trained and very experienced. Dr. Otto is a very caring person that makes sure that his patients' needs are met. He has been very flexible with appointments for me because of my work schedule and drive time. He has gone above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that both of my hearing aids are working to their highest capacity. Pat, the receptionist, is pleasant, friendly and will work with you to get an appointment that works with your schedule. I highly recommend Dr. Otto to anyone with hearing problems.

        The Best

        Had a hearing test this week with Dr. Otto. Was a very complete exam. I knew my hearing was bad but when I tried on Oticon hearing aids my world opened back up.



        Great products, staff and service. I highly recommend Acclaim Hearing Center to everyone!
