I still don't understand how she did it, but we got our Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Discharge on schedule thanks to having a great, patient, calm and understanding attorney.

I am very pleased with the outcome of my BK. Dorothy is a very caring person. I would highly recommend her to others.

2 years ago, I filed Chapter 13 Bankruptcy with Dorothy at A Fresh Start Bankruptcy. I had a lot of credit card debt, but mainly I filed was so I could end a big second mortgage (nearly $250K) & save our family home from foreclosure. With foreclosure, my mother in her wheelchair would have been in the street.

I don’t earn very much, Dorothy explained I could only afford the mortgage payments was if everyone in house paid rent. I was humiliated to ask my kids to pay to live at their home, but Dorothy talked to my kids & all my kids will pay to keep our family together.

So today, I get email from Dorothy. And Dorothy says ““why you still get a tax refund, it’s just money you throw away?” She says I can get $12 more each week in paycheck - not alot of money to some people, but a lot of money to me. For $12 my mom can get her nails done every couple of weeks if she wants, or I can make her a special meal for holy days. And out of nowher Dorothy notices that I shouldn’t lose this money, understands that an extra $12 will help me out, & tell what to do to keep this money.

We are immigrants and I do no have any other experience with American legal system. My attorney Dorothy Bunce has treated me with kindness & respect for my culture.
