He honestly told me the best way to resolve my issue without charging me. He basically told me he didn’t need to take my money when I could resolve it just as quickly by doing a couple things. To me that is high integrity.

When I received my speeding ticket [101 in a 65], I was very distraught. I searched and searched different lawyers. Most of the other lawyers I have found were charging me a ridiculous amount for something that is not a guaranteed which is a dismissal case. I found Mr. Chesley online and I contacted him. He didn't seem like he was rushed or anything. He answered my questions thoroughly. He went straight to the point. After I paid the fee, I was expecting for him to reduce the charge to just the fined which would be a lot of money but at least I wouldn't have any points on my license. After the trial was over he emailed me and told me my case was dismissed. This by far the best lawyer I have ever encountered.

After being charged with a DUI I was scared and did not know what to do and called David on a Friday evening. He offered to meet me first thing the next morning (obviously a weekend) and work through the specifics of my case. David was honest and did not sugar-coat the risk of my decision but put me at ease with his knowledge and confidence around the legal process. He impressed me most when in a preliminary hearing he was able to present evidence that was new to even the judge and prosecutor with printed copies in hand to prove his point successfully. While advising me, David left the decisions in my hand every step of the way. He never encouraged me to plea or take a charge as I said from day one that was not an option in my mind. The case ended in a jury trial where he fought for two days to defend my innocence. The result of this work and time was a verdict of 'not guilty.' I could not give a higher recommendation.

More importantly, He created a comprehensive record that eventually facilitated a finding in my favor of a Violation of my 4th Amendment rights (Unlawful Stop by police) in the form of a Writ against the Department of Motor Vehicles and reinstatement of my Drivers License by a Superior Court Judge where to a favorable outcome came for me.
