General Info: Operational for more than 40 years, the UCP of Central Florida provides educational services for more than 2,000 children with special needs, including cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism, speech delays, developmental delays, and vision and hearing impairments. It operates over five campuses throughout Central Florida. The school also offers services at the Loch Haven Park Neighborhood Center. The UCP of Central Florida is an affiliate of the United Cerebral Palsy Associates. It has a staff of teachers, physical and occupational therapists, teachers assistants and family service specialists. The school also provides after-school care programs. The UCP of Central Florida maintains a location in Lake Mary, Fla.
