Dr.Alvi &ofc mgr Sam seem to be the only people in this establishment w/an ounce of customer service training. I have been a medical assistant 15 years I also taught college courses on professional development. That being said, every single time I have ever been in this office the admin staff is openly being rude to patients on the phone, hanging up on patients, clicking phone to voicemail to continue personal conversations at the front desk instead of answering incoming calls, etc.... Yes, I have witnessed all of this myself. The after hours phone systems weren't working properly 6 months. NO voice mails could be left, the emergency contact information was for a dentist who no longer worked there, and no calls were ever returned.I was supposed to be seen by the 24th of Oct. and it took me until November 11th to get a response, to get me into the office, and again, I only got that because I emailed the ofc mgr. Once in the ofc the price of my filling had increased times 2x. Mind you on the previous visit the same exact thing happened and I paid $1,000 for a single non molar crown!? Once I complained about the prices the dental assistant proceeded to walk outside of the room and openly mocked me and laughed with the other girls about my complaint. At checkout I was told that I couldn't be given the remainder of my credit balance in cash and that they would have to mail me a check? It was only $50. You mean to tell me that the cash register upfront doesn't even have $50 in it or was it an act of spite so that I couldn't walk out with my cash in hand? I've never heard of remaining credit balance being distributed via USPS mail. I will never step foot in that office again and I will make sure that everyone whom I come in contact with knows that they should never go there either. By the way, it's come to my attn that 'Affordable-Dentures' literally charges 50% of what this Office charges for all the exact same procedures
