X-rays
We utilize an advanced digital radiography system in place of conventional dental x-rays, this includes computerized tomography ( CBCT 3D scan ) which minimizes the radiation exposure to our patients and improves diagnostic capabilities. This technology also eliminates environmental exposure of the hazardous byproducts of x-ray film developing.

Teeth Cleaning
I just wanted to thank you all once again for doing an outstanding job during my root canal surgery last November. Your professionalism and genuine concern during my “first” (and hopefully last??!!) root canal was greatly appreciated. Again, I’ve been through more uncomfortable dental cleanings in comparison to the root canal procedure performed by Dr. Caissie!

Crowns
I would like to thank you all for the work you did on my tooth yesterday. I am glad to now know what has been going on under my crown and that the pain has been and will soon be completely resolved back at Dr. Burk’s office. Root Canal Treatment
Thank you for choosing Lake Mary Endodontics, the specialty office of Dr. Travis Caissie. We are dedicated to providing exceptional care in a comfortable environment utilizing state-of-the-art technology.
Apicoectomy
Generally, conventional root canal therapy is all that is needed. Success rates for a non-surgical treatment occur in about 90% of cases. Occasionally, microsurgery is needed to save a tooth. This technique can be useful in locating root fractures and treating canals that may not be able to be accessed through standard root canal therapy. The most common microsurgical procedure is called an apicoectomy.

General Dentistry
Travis was born and raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Both of his parents were teachers, his mother is a Boston-native, which gives Travis both American and Canadian citizenships. After high school, Travis was recruited to play Division 1 Lacrosse for State University of New York at Stony Brook. From there, Travis earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology degree for West Virginia University. Next, he attended Marquette University School of Dentistry, earning his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. He then moved to Manhattan for a 1-year General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Travis and his wife Lee (who was also raised in Fredericton) returned to Canada where he practiced general dentistry for 3 years. Next, Travis returned to Marquette University School of Dentistry to concurrently earn his Master's in Science (MS) degree and his Certificate in Endodontics. Throughout his academic journey, Travis has held several student body elected offices and was awarded numerous academic excellence awards and is a founding member of the International Academy of Endodontics. Travis and his wife Lee have been married for 21 years and have 3 young sons and a daughter, who they are raising in Lake Mary, Florida.
