I have good and not so good to say about Dr. Batta...

To be fair to him, in my times of dealings him, he seems like a very nice man. He was an acquaintance and I spoke to him on more occasions than just pet visits. I know for a fact that he took care of a cat that was left near his house. Each tenant that moved in (on his street) took care of the cat for a time and then would move on and leave him behind. Dr. Batta would bring him food and make sure he had the needed treatments, even though he was not his cat. So I know that he does genuinely care for animals.

Now for the not so good...Although I did take my pets to him for a time and nothing terrible happened, I never felt that he kept up to date on animal care. So I did eventually take them to different a veterinarian.

i am a resident of lake hopatcong and i also have to agree with the opinions of the other pet owners. i do not want to sit here and not voice my heard by others, so they might be spared the unprofessional treatment received by dr john batta. dr batta should be ashamed of his treatment of my cat -he should be banned from practicing.



i have found a caring and professional and KNOWLEDGEABLE vet in highland lakes-the extra miles on my car and gas cost is worth it.
