Overall
Happiest Day of my dog

When my dog left to go to Paula's Canine Academy, I saw my dog already making friends, with Dustin's dog Joey. And quickly after many other dogs were coming up to introduce themselves. Then I noticed that he always following Domino, whom was always running around the giant yard.

I can't thank you enough for making my dog Sam so happy.

Overall
Best Boarding Ever

I boarded my dane there, he had the best time of his life. He had so much fun with the other dogs. They always made sure he was happy, and always playing, He always got exercise from them which was very good. They never let him get overheated, as I saw four kiddie pools, FILLED with fresh cold water. When I came to pick him up, they always made sure that my dog and I were happy with our stay.

Thank you Paula.

Overall
unfair reporting!

I want to dispute the very negative review given below. Important information was left out. Paula had put the dogs in question, together for at least a few days, observing them closely, before she left them alone together. Only after it seemed that they got along well and became friends, did she leave them alone for a short time. When we leave our dogs there, the other boarding dogs are in plain sight. The pitbull was outside at the time and the couple had every opportunity to question the safety of their pets. I know the risk of dog fights when I leave mine in her care, their dogs, not babies, and it is not reasonable to think they should be in the staff's view 24-7. Not even a kennel facility at the vets stays with them, but they are all in kennels while they are there. If that's is what you want, then take your dog to the vet. Maggie, the so called "mauler" is a friendly, loving dog, who hasn't been violent at all. Who knows what started the fight, but it wasn't negligence on Paula's part.Canine Academy is a great place, run by a woman who knows what she is doing. Accidents happen.

Overall
excellent, caring training and dogcare

I was fortunate enough to find Paula and Canine Academy over two years ago. I have never hesitated to leave my dogs in her care. She has trained two of my dogs which involves them staying at her boarding facility for two to three weeks. I checked the facility for cleanliness and safety before I would leave my pets there, and found it to be exceptional in both areas. As a consumer,I knew that there was always a possibility that the unforseen could happen, and my dog could be injured or attacked while running with other dogs. The benefits of Paula's loving care, and the opportunity to run free, rather than be cooped up in a kennel, far outweighed the risks of injury. If I wanted to have a risk free invironment, I would've boarded my dogs at the vets, where they would be isolated to a crate for the duration of their stay.

I still highly reccomend Paula's Canine Academy. Paula is a woman of integrity, and she has a passion for and true love of dogs.
