Sea Country Dental

I was a new client and I made an appoinment for a yearly teeth cleaning and check up. The office was nice and they were on time. I met with the lady who would be cleaning first who took the x-rays and measured my gums, etc. The doctor came in for a few minutes and confimed what she had told me already; I had some bad spots and a chipped tooth and might want to get braces. I then moved into another room. She came back with a list and prices. She told me I could not get a normal cleaning becuase it would do nothing for my teeth. I needed a deep cleaning and it would cost about $800.00. I told her I could not pay that today and just wanted the regular cleaning for now. She refused and I had to make another appoinment. She asked rudly if it would be the same for my husband! I answered I did not know what condition his teeth were in and he wanted a regular cleaning as well.



After all this I decided to try another dentist. Sea Country Dental could not give me any prices for just a deep cleaning, they kept bringing up braces, etc. The new dentist charged me $400 and they are not in the blue shield plan. Now I recieved a bill from Sea Country for a service I did not have!! Be careful, they will try to rip you off and over charge!
