Illness Treatment

Parasites Treatment and Control
Heartworm disease, flea infestation, and intestinal parasites can all be very damaging to your pet’s health. Preventative measures should be taken year-round to help stop your pet from being affected.
Skin Condition and Allergy Treatment
Fleas are small, brown, fast-moving insects that live on your pet’s fur. Some animals are allergic to the saliva of fleas and flea bites can cause severe skin irritation. If ingested while grooming, fleas can transmit an intestinal parasite known as the tapeworm to your pet.

Periodontal Disease Treatment
Tartar accumulation leads to irritation of the gums and then progresses to bone loss around the teeth, otherwise known as periodontal disease. This condition is painful even when our pets don’t seem to tell us. If left untreated dental disease can cause tooth loss, tonsillitis and pharyngitis, painful tooth root infection, and can even lead to kidney and heart infections as the bacteria from the mouth are carried throughout the blood stream.

Wound and Fracture Care

Veterinary Surgery
The most common soft tissue surgery that we perform is mass removals. Once removed, we recommend sending off the mass to find out if the mass is benign or something more serious. Early removal and accurate diagnosis is very helpful in getting a better prognosis in cancerous masses.
Spaying and Neutering
One very important reason to spay or neuter your pet is to help slow down the trend of dogs and cats that do not have homes due to overpopulation. The health benefits of spaying your pet include removing their risk for developing pyometra (infection in the uterus) and lowering their risk for mammary cancer. The health benefits of neutering your pet include preventing diseases such as prostate disease and testicular cancer.

Laboratory Services
Pre-anesthetic blood work is offered at our clinic and recommended with every surgical procedure to evaluate for any concurrent diseases that may need to be more fully investigated or treated before pursuing anesthesia. Like you, our greatest concern is your pet’s well-being and safety.
X-Ray
Dental Radiology
We have all of the proper anesthesia and dental equipment at our disposal such as ultrasonic scalers, high speed drills, appropriate hand tools, inhalant anesthesia machines, warm air circulating blankets, and fluid pumps. We also provide advanced digital dental radiography and take full mouth radiographs with every dental procedure in order to identify and treat disease under the gumline not visible to the naked eye. We have a specially trained staff member in addition to the person doing the work that is assigned to closely monitor your pet under anesthesia at all times.

General Pet Care

Boarding
Dog boarding offers several run sizes that will accommodate any size dog. Walks are given three times daily Monday through Saturday (twice on Sunday). Also, an outdoor exercise area allows our canine guests to enjoy play times during the day. Day boarding is also available.
Grooming
We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may have on our grooming clients, however at this time we are unfortunately unable to offer grooming services to our clients. We will only be able to offer an exit bath for boarding pets (no grooms) on a limited basis. In the event that things change within the clinic we will reach out to everyone and let them know. Thank you for understanding, and again our sincere apologies.
