Not only great food in a quaint, friendly atmosphere--but also the owners are the kind of people you wished were your next door neighbor! I highly recommend this restaurant and willingly give it a five-star rating!...Charlene Potterbaum

Good food at reasonable prices. Best 1/2 lb. burger in town where you can order it medium because of the high quality meat they buy locally. Salads and sandwiches are oversized and delicious. No one can beat Ginger's French onion soup (or any of her soups for that matter) topped with a large crouton and hot stringy cheese, or her superb carrot cake with cream cheese frosting (and that's oversized too). On Friday evenings their prime rib is big and quality through and through...and where can you get a 7 oz. tenderloin steak with two sides, plus soup or salad, for less than 10 bucks. Gibson's is decorated with a little bit of this and a little bit of that but all in good taste. Breakfast is a real treat as well and their coffee is alway the same...great! Just a nice place to bring the wife or date or just stop in alone and experience nice people who are real servants to their customers. Even if you want only dessert and coffee, the cafe is a must when you are in Lafayette TN.
