Droopy breasts occur when the breast skin envelope is too large relative to the amount of breast tissue. Some women have naturally droopy breasts, while others develop droopy breasts after pregnancy or weight loss. Women with excessively low, droopy breasts may experience neck and upper back pain.

Ultrasound
The procedure Liposuction is an outpatient procedure which is done at the surgicenter. Dr. Ma utilizes the Vaser LipoSelection® system for liposuction procedures. The Vaser® procedure uses a patented innovative ultrasound technology to very efficiently and precisely loosen and remove unwanted fat. The Vaser® system minimizes tissue and nerve and blood vessel trauma, resulting in far less pain, bruising and discomfort than traditional liposuction, and a faster recovery. This procedure also allows Dr. Ma greater precision in sculpting even the most delicate areas such as neck and inner thighs.
MRI
Monitoring for rupture: if a saline implant ruptures, it is obvious due to deflation. If a silicone implant ruptures, there may be no symptoms or physical findings. The only way to determine if a silicone implant has ruptured is by MRI. If you choose to have a silicone implant, you must be convinced that a ruptured silicone implant will not be harmful.

General Surgery
Melanoma Melanoma is the most worrisome type of skin cancer. Although fortunately not as common as BCC or SCC, melanoma is far more serious. If the melanoma is caught early, it can be treated with a wide local excision. This requires that an margin of tissue around the melanoma be excised and closed. This is often best done in the operating room, where local flaps can be raised and used to reconstruct the defect in the least visible way possible. Eventually, the scars fade and the defect is minimally visible. If the melanoma is deeper, it is necessary to perform a wide local excision as well as sample the draining lymph nodes to determine if the melanoma has spread. This procedure is done in conjunction with Dr. Ma's general surgery colleagues.
Mohs Surgery
The majority of skin cancers can be excised under local anesthetic in the office. In certain cases, such as a recurrent cancer, your dermatologist may advise Mohs surgery. Mohs surgery is a special procedure in which the cancer is shaved off one layer at a time. At the end of the procedure, the cancer is completely removed. The resulting defect can then be reconstructed by Dr. Ma. When you have a MOHS procedure, our office will coordinate your reconstruction with your dermatologist's office.

Botox
As everyone metabolizes Botox at different rates, how much Botox is required for you and how often treatments are needed will differ per individual. After a few treatments, the dose you need to erase your wrinkles will be known and a similar dose will be effective each time.
Brow Lift
The brow lift procedure The procedure is an outpatient procedure. Brow lifts can be performed through two incisions placed on either side of the forehead behind the hairline. The soft tissues of the forehead are lifted, redraping the skin smoothly over the upper eyelid and brow area, and raising the eyebrows to the youthful raised position. Recovery is about 2 weeks.
Eyelid Surgery
The procedure Eyelid surgery is done as an outpatient at a surgicenter. On the upper eyelid, an incision is made in the natural crease of the upper lid, so the scar is invisible. The excess skin and fat are carefully trimmed. The goal is to create a crisp upper eyelid fold without hanging skin.

"I had my breast reduction done in December 2004. It was one of the best things that I have ever done for myself both physically emotionally. As a teenager I was only 5 ft, 105 lbs and a size 34DD. Breast Lift

Rhinoplasty
The rhinoplasty procedure Rhinoplasty is done as an outpatient procedure through a small incision along the columella, the area that separates the nostrils. Once healed, this scar is minimally visible. Depending on the changes that need to be made, the bridge of the nose will be smoothened, or the tip of the nose is sculpted using native cartilage of the nose or cartilage from the ear. The results are apparent within weeks after surgery, although it will take up to a year for the contour to be fully defined.

Face Lift

Neck Lift
The face and neck lift procedure Facelifts are done as an outpatient in our surgicenter. The incisions are carfeully hidden in the hairline and behind the ears. Once mature, the incisions are minimally visible. The skin is redraped under gentle stretch, removing the wrinkled appearance of the skin and the excess skin is trimmed away and repositioned. The goal is to create a smooth soft contour to the face. The goal is not a windblown or pulled back look that is the telltale sign of a technically incorrect facelift. A well done facelift should look natural and leave you looking refreshed.
Blepharoplasty
Eyelid surgery corrects heavy, dropping upper eyelids, and bagginess of the lower lids. Many people choose to have eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty, so that their eyes look more bright and alive. The tired look is gone. We look as good as we feel.
Abdominoplasty
In certain cases, women will have a minor skin excess of the lower abdomen and a minor pooch, while the upper abdominal area is fine. In these cases, the excess skin and laxity of the lower abdominal muscles can be addressed with a mini-abdominoplasty. This is a far less invasive operation than a full abdominoplasty, and the recovery is far milder. The incision is also much shorter. During your consultation, Dr. Ma will let you know if you are a candidate for a mini-abdominoplasty versus a full abdominoplasty.
Nose Surgery
The nose is a focal point of our face. A nose that is not in harmony with other facial features presents a visual distraction and detracts from the overall balance of one's features. Nose surgery, or rhinoplasty, can correct the distracting features of the nose and bring the facial features in better balance. A bump on the nose can be smoothened, a large bulbous nose can be better defined with a finer tip.

Cosmetic Surgery
The American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) is the national agency which serves to regulate, establish standards, and govern the various medical fields and sub-specialty boards. Only 24 boards meet the strict educational and examination criteria and are acknowledged by the ABMS. The American Board of Plastic Surgery is among them. There are over 100 other "boards" which are not recognized by the ABMS because they do not have appropriate criteria for membership, but have been created for marketing purposes. Skin Cancer
Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer, occuring in over half a million Americans each year. Skin cancer can appear anywhere on the body, but is most common on sun exposed skin. Dr. Ma works closely with several dermatologists to treat skin cancers of all kinds. Commonly, the dermatologist will detect a suspicious skin lesion on physical examination and biopsy it. If the lesion is a basal cell cancer or a squamous cell cancer, it needs to be completely excised. This completion excision can be done by the dermatologist or by Dr. Ma. If the lesion is on the face, Dr. Ma is often asked to remove the skin cancer. She will plan the incision in a way that results in a minimally visible scar. Commonly facial scars eventually become completely invisible.
