Ecowater Systems

Ecowater negligently installed a water softener unit into our HVAC drain which froze during the winter causing backflow of water into our home. We had severe water damage costing $100,000 repairs and had to be out of our home for 3 weeks with our whole family. Repairs took over 3months. Ecowater could have easily connected the unit drain directly to the exterior of the house. When called about these issues they were dismissive and condescending. They would not take responsibility stating that they cannot "predict the weather" and as such were not at fault. They would not cover our deductible or apologize for the situation. We chose this company as it was a Costco vendor approved. We will be sending letters to Costco and BBB regarding our experience. No family should have to go through this. They have lack of insight into their product and lack of concern for their customers. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ECOWATER!!!

I purchased a softener and reverse osmosis filter from Ecowater and could not be happier with the results. They have been very helpful and answered all my questions throughout the process. If you want to have clean water for you and your family I highly recommend you give them a call.

I had them re-install the water softener my mother owned. I was at work so she handled everything for me. They never explained the additional trip charge of 80.00 which is ridiculous, plus a 125.00 installation fee on top of that. I talked to the manager which was useless because she did not care and actually told me that. She was very argumentative. Be aware of this company and their prices.

Horrible experience! Our water softener pipe, that is patented by them and under warranty, broke in half, flooding our garage. They came out, but charged us $80 for their visit, and then said it was $500 to fix! My husband asked about the warranty and the guy said he had to call his boss. He then came back with a higher price, which is more than just buying a whole new system somewhere else. We had to still pay the $80 for them just looking at it! Do not buy this softener and from them! Save your money!
