Rose Garden Personal Care Home

I worked with Ms. Rose and her husband for more than 4 years and I am shocked by the story being told here by Kayla T. I know Kayla's Mom "D" and she just couldn't seem to understand how to operate a Hoyer lift. We all tried to help her, but she never felt comfortable.



Yes Ms. Rose is super protective of the elderly residents and will spend any amount of effort to help and train a caregiver with the right attitude.

Ms. D just couldn't understand the way we care for people here.



Rose and Alvin have been laughed at by other people in the business because they have so many caregivers to help just 3 or 4 elderly people. They want the caregivers to spend quality time with the residents, not just dress and feed them.



If anyone really is interested, they should visit and see for themselves. I've worked in many places, but very few protect the elederly like these people. Yes, Ms. Rose is extreme. She fights for her elederly and will never tolerate a caregiver that comprimises the health or safety of the elderly. Rose and alvin live there and I think Rose is a teaching RN .



They will not allow a lazy or uncaring person to care for their residents. They told me to call them anytime, even 3Am if there is any question or concern about a resident, no matter what. Kayla, tell your Mom that not everyone can work at Rose garden.

Ms. Rose, the owner here, is a coldhearted, gossiping, MEAN, rude human. She is very self centered, and mistreats the residents and employees. She acts like she is above everyone including the residents and employees. She never smiles, and talks down on the elders. Mr. Alvin, the man who actually runs the place, was a sweetheart until Ms. Rose made him gossip and fire my mother for a fake reason. Ms. Rose, ms. Annette (the lady who does the hours) and the caretakers there are two-faced liars.
My mother was unofficially fired from this job the other day. Her heart was completely into this job since the day she started. She treated the elders with mutual respect and extra care to make them comfortable, and made them feel LOVED, which not one of the other caregivers did. Ms. Rose has repeatedly expressed her dislike for my mother by singling her out and getting onto her for trivial things that were "against the routine" whenever they were things the resident requested. She kept repeating "I don't think you understand" and "you did this wrong" whenever my mother explained her reasons. We went in there on thursday, and we went there to speak with mr. Alvin, who was busy, so my mother took me to meet the elders. I met the elders, and left. No one would make eye contact with me while my mother and I were there. My mother returned the next day, to retrieve her check and some dvds we lent to a resident, and my mother was told to "leave the premises now" and that she was "fired" with the premise that we "barged into me alvins office and demanded $25" which is a load of bs! We are convinced that Ms. Rose convinced everyone and her husband Mr. Alvin that my mother said all of these things. They also wanted to withhold my mother's last check from her.

These people are con artists, abusive towards the elders, screw over their employees that actually have their heart in the job, falsely advertise, swindlers, and people who shouldn't run a business let alone a retirement home.

I was suppose to get paid almost $500 and due to quitting they didn't pay me correctly, then is rude and has a bad attitude. I liked the place at first and then noticed he was not as innocent as I thought it's unfair I put my heart into my job and still I didn't even get paid for it I'm just worried about the residents money if he ripped me off of $200 I can imagine what he's dping to the residents money
