My fried oysters tasted like they were fried in last week's grease and they didn't taste fresh at all, like they sat out at room temp too long before frying. Another time, the salad I ordered to go was old, like they made it on Monday when most of the cooking is done. Another time, I ordered a dozen boiled crabs to go and very many of them had no claws.

Horrible food and service the owner is an obnoxious jerk !!!

When I went to this restaurant, I ordered the seafood gumbo, and it had a scorching taste. When I spoke to the waitress about my dislike of the food, she called the manager over. I explained to him about the gumbo and I asked if I could have it removed from my bill and order something else. He simply replied, "No, I cannot do that." I had to pay for the uneaten gumbo, and then pay for something else too if I wanted something else to eat. I am trying to support the River Parish area, but with such poor customer service, I would rather drive a further distance for better quality food and better customer service.

Seafood gumbo was watery, cold and fishy tasting. The service was poor. The owner was very rude, argumentive, insulting and unprofessional. Save ur money!

I had their seafood platter it was very filling to where I had to take rest home. The catfish was cook perfect and their hush puppies are the best.
