After reviewing many photographic portfolios, we selected David Max Steinberg to shoot our daughter's wedding that occurred on a private yacht in San Diego Bay. The unusual venue required a skilled photographer who could handle working on a moving platform required at sea. We also decided that journalistic photography was a must for the representation of this important day. We asked Mr. Steinberg to photograph the groom and his attendants, who would be the boat handlers, as they walked down a traffic filled street on the way to the yacht club. He then came to the hotel to photograph the bride and family members, and was at the dock before the bride arrived to the still hours of the early morning.



David photographed the wedding ceremony on the stern of the yacht with the beautiful San Diego skyline as a backdrop.



When the yacht docked, David was able to photograph the bagpipers, and the band as the wedding party disembarked to be greeted by a very large party of well wishers. He handled the crowd and the intricacies of the day with aplomb, and did it so discreetly that that most guests didn't know they were being photographed, or completely enjoyed the casual nature of his approach. One guest was heard to say of David: "That is the man who has worked the hardest today."
