Went in for a cleaning, the dentist said I needed a crown right away, that I needed to have it done as soon as possible. I had the procedure, paid my $900 portion of my bill, and a year later got a bill for the portion insurance was supposed to pay. Called insurance, they said the dentist did not prove the procedure was necessary. Instead of filing an appeal the dentist just billed me instead. I asked for copies of the payment agreement I signed and my records, never received any. The lady on the phone just kept telling me I owe the money. They perform unnecessary procedures and make you think they are urgent.
