Diggity Dog Day Care

We recently found Diggity Dog and took our two dogs to play there. They loved it. The staff is great and caring. The facility is very open but does have places for the dogs to get rest or get out of the sun. We wish they had boarding so we could use them when we go on vacation.

The employees are all very nice and clearly love dogs. However, unfortunately the owner, Pat, is nothing like his employees. He does not live up to his promise of operating with "honesty and integrity" as he claims on his site. He allowed dogs to play at a super high energy level that is not safe for a daycare environment, and our dog ended up in a scuffle with another dog. Pat refused to pitch in on any resulting vet bills. During the legal battle that followed, we learned that there have been several incidents here where both dogs and employees have been injured. At least two dogs were "severely injured". In both of those cases, Pat refused to pay a penny towards vet bills. We also learned he is being sued by another local business because he intentionally trashed the building he had been renting from them. Taking our dog here was a very expensive mistake for us... we are hoping this review saves others from going through what we have.

Actually they have moved to a Wonderful NEW facility at 600 Fisherman's Road. They have a huge outdoor play yard for the dogs that is the Biggest one in the state. Great visibility there and a SUPER friendly staff. 5 stars for sure.
