        Youth Villages serves more than 14,000 emotionally and behaviorally troubled children and their families in the District of Columbia, as well as Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. It serves children and youths up to the age of 22. Youth Villages provides residential treatment services in its Bartlett Campus, Dogwood Campus and Deer Valley Campus. Founded in 1986, the organization offers foster care and adoption solutions. It provides transitional living and Choices programs. Youth Villages operates over five group homes for the development of life and independent living skills in the areas of budgeting, menu planning and grocery shopping.

        Youth Villages routinely over-works it's employees. My daughter had to work 67 hours last week and drive 1,100 miles. And she was suppose to do paper work on top of that. When Amanda the director of the Knoxville office was told about this her response was "let's talk". But that is what they have said dozens of times before. No action to help their employees. The time card says they work 42.5 hours a week. Forget that. If you go to work here expect 55+ hour weeks.
