Knoxville Dermatopathology Laboratory

Due to my age and extremely expensive insurance premiums, I have a very high insurance deductible. I recently had to undergo several procedures including a visit to my dermotologist. My doctor used this laboratory to test some tissue samples.



ALL my physicians and other laboratories billed me only for the adjusted insurance amount EXCEPT FOR KNOXVILLE DERMATOPATHOLOGY LABORATORY.



When I called the billing department, the woman I spoke to was short with me to the point of being rude. She stated that the contract they had was with my insurance company and not with me and the would not discount their rate to me because I had not yet met my deductible. When I asked what the amount they would charge the insurance company with me she stated again, that their contract was not with me. INTERESTING SINCE THEY SENT ME A BILL AND EXPECT ME TO PAY IT.



I am paying the full amount to these bloodsuckers, but there are other reputable laboratories in Knoxville that are willing to work with you and be fair. Use someone else!
