I have never had a bad experience with this particular Free Service Tire and I have been taking my car there for over 2 years now for regular maintenance and emergency repairs. I bought a used car from a dealership in the area a year and half ago and was really disappointed when all sorts of things began going wrong with the car. I took it to Free Service who replaced everything that needed fixing with no further problems. Each time I go for an oil change, servicing, and/or flat tire, I am treated with courtesy and efficiency. I appreciate this as I have tried many different car servicing places, including the dealership where my car had been purchased.

Bought two tires a couple months ago and one keeps losing air. Took car in to get tired fixed and buy 2 more tires, I was told that the tire was fixed. The next morning I went out to my car and the "fixed" tire was flat. I called (Vern) who I worked with at there store and told him he needed to come and put my spare on, take it to the shop and put a NEW tire on it. He said he would but never showed up.

The manager is the biggest crook....he will lie to you and say that a bunch of things are wrong with your car that need fixed and it will cost...as he always estimates...hundreds of dollars.



This last time I took my car over there for my free tire rotation and balance ..on the ticket he charged me for a flat repair..$24.99 I asked him about that and he said, "Oh, there's a nail in one of the tires." I asked him to show it to me, and he eventually changed his story and said that it was just a nail head stuck in the tread and they flicked it out....BUSTED!! and needless to say I wasn't charged $25 for a tire repair.



He also said that my pressure line was leaking and needed replaced and flushed...which would cost me around $400.



I again asked him to show me the problem. We went to look at my car and he shined the flash light on the line trying to say..."see the leak?" NO, there was not any kind of leak.



He always said that my hub assembly needed fixed...for $ 317.15.



Later that day I had my mechanicto take a look at the $767.79 worth of maintenance recommendations this company said Ineeded fixed on my car. NONE of them needed fixed!!



If I had not had him to prove the flat tire and pressure line leak and went ahead and said "Ok, fix it please," I would have paid $430.79



Each of these stores in Knoxville hav done this to me everytime I have went there....I WON'T BE BACK!!!
