Automaxx Car Sales

They screwed me over with the title and registration now I'm stuck trying to find a way to make it legal! They shut down and I have no way to contact them to work it out. If anyone knows the date they closed it would be great or even how to contact them. There is a lean stuck on this car that shouldn't even be on there and Shaugn Spoon never even put my name on it he left it in the privious owners name and made fake paperwork.

I finaced a 06' Jeep Grand Cherokee on Mon. 03/24/2014. On Wed. 03/26/2014 the car was stopped at a red light. When the light turned green instead of the car going forward it rolled back and all of the gears responded as if in neutral. The car had to be turned off and back on again to resume. The same day while in a fast food drive thru the car stalled and shut off. I had to put the car in park and turn it back on. Immediately following both incidents I contacted the Automaxx dealership and spoke with Wes. There was already a workorder in place for them to repair the car Thur. 03/27/14. Upon leaving my apartment complex on 03/27/14 to take the car to the Automaxx Collision Repair Shop I was unable to get out of the complex due to the car being unresponsive. My courtesy officer and maintenance personell had to physically push the car out of the street and the car had to be towed to the repair shop. I was provided an loaner car on 03/28/14. The loaner made a popping sound from the wheels. Dale at Automaxx Collision Repair told me it was nothing maybe just a ball joint. I did not feel comfortable with the car and it was returned. Within the following days (03/27 - 04/09)there was not much communication unless I initiated it with the dealership or repair shop. I was told my car would be ready Mon 03/31 then thur 04/03 and then Sat 04/05. As of 04/09/14 I did not feel the car was making progress. I felt it was half way thru a month about time for the first car note and I hadn't had the vehicle but for two days. I called Automaxx Collision Repair at 9:30am on 04/09/14 to advised them I would be moving the car to a certified Jeep dealership. I also called Wes at Automaxx Car Sales car lot and I called Shawn. I was unable to reach Shawn so I left him a text message to let him know I was moving the car. I had the car towed by Fountain City wrecker service to the Jim Cogdill Dodge Jeep Chrysler Ram dealership. Upon the cars arrival at Jim Cogdill Dodge the mechanic noticed the cars transmission was missing componets. The service advisor John A from Jim Cogdill Dodge had to contact Automaxx Collision Repair. He was advised they had some of the parts still at the collision shop. The Jeep dealership was not able to do anything with the vehicle as the transmission was not together. To even have the car where it could be looked at they had to perform a transmission service at $150. Throught this time I was in contact with American Credit Acceptance the finance company and Value Guard the warranty company. I was advised by the finance company that their dealer relations department was looking into the matter. I also consulted with an attorney as I do not want to incur $10000+ worth of debt nor do I want to recoup a repo on my credit for a vehicle that I had in my possesion for only two days. I do not beleive this is a fair and just way to do business. The defects of the vehicle are so extensive it is highly unlikely Automaxx Dealership was not aware of the damage before selling the car. While I am aware the lemon laws may not apply to my situation I do feel the consumer protection act may have been violated by Automaxx Car Sales.
