Where do I begin! After waiting over an hour for our meal, it came back so very wrong, not even close to what was ordered! Even the next 2 feeble attempts from, a seemingly doped up waitress, they were wrong too! Then we where charged $12 for a handful of shredded lettuce and a spoonful of chicken broth! What a joke to call this place a restaurant!

Do not go there. I have seen the way the staff is treated. I am so tired of going in there and the way they talk to their female employees is terrible. Makes me think I am in china or japan. One male server named Roy is the worst. I would hate to be his wife. I run my own business and would die If my employees were treated this way. But management or ownership is just as bad. They belittle and talk down to the female servers like they are stupid. Wake up owners of Asia this is America treat our women with respect. You are losing business like this. I plan on telling everyone about this place and how rude you all are. I am surprised you haven't been sued or this treatment.

This is not a post written out...

This is not a post written out of haste or anger. I gave this particular establishment four different opportunities to retain my business.

The menu:

The menu is large and varied. I have only sampled a small portion of what is offered so I cannot comment of most of their items. The sushi rolls are enormous (not in a good way). The pieces are extremely large and unevenly cut. The size of each role makes it difficult and messy to eat. The sushi tastes decent though. I have also ordered chicken and shrimp hibachi. The meet was cooked well, but the vegetables were very scarce. I received two carrot slices, one piece of broccoli, and no mushrooms.

The staff:

In my 4 ventures to Asia Cafe I had adequate service once. On my first venture my father and I both ordered a sushi role. My role came out 30 minutes before my father's, so he had to watch me eat and then I him. It took almost 70 minutes to get both rolls to the table.

I ordered Asia Cafe online as well. I chose two items online (one $7.98 and one $8.98). The website indicated my food would be ready in 20 minutes. To allow for human error I allowed 30 minutes to pass before arriving. When asked to pay my bill was higher than indicated online ($10.98 instead of $8.98). The online prices are apparently not accurate with actual store prices. I informed the girl at the counter and her response was, "It's not really a big deal. You get a discount on Tuesdays anyways." Two dollars isn't much, and I didn't really care. It was the servers attitude the irked me. Anyways, I paid. The server then informed me that my rolls were not yet ready (15 minutes late already). I then proceeded to wait another 40 minutes for my rolls (I waited because I had already paid, and I was curious just how long it was going to take).

I swore I would not go back, but my relatives wanted to try it one more time. My father-in-law and I both ordered hibachi (which comes with soup, salad, and the entree according to the menu). After 30 minutes we asked the waiter for our soup because he had not yet brought it. It was decent soup. The entree came less than 2 minutes after the soup arrived. The salad was never brought. We inquired about the salad, and the server paused, almost admitted his error, then proceeded to tell us hibachi doesn't come with a salad. I stopped the next server to walk by and asked about the menu. He informed us the hibachi is indeed supposed to come with a salad. Our server returned right as we started our entrees and asked if we saved room for desert (even thought we just begun eating). My father-in-law responded, "No, I saved room for that salad you never brought." We then finished our meal and requested the check. The server brought the check and two salads (after we had finished our dinner). He never apologized or admitted his error (I'll forgive just about any error in food service is people take responsibility).

Basically, the food is not bad, but the service is inexcusable. They are not rude, just terribly incompetent. I was amazed because I read all the online reviews before going. I gave them 4 chances, because I was determined to get the positive experience so many others have described.
