El Ranchito Mexican Restaurant

We have eaten at El Ranchito located at 4368 W Stone Drive many times and have always had wonderful food and service.

On 08/29/2015 was the last visit because of how a customer with a 'Service Dog' was refused service. How sad -- they even had a hand written a notice that states 'No Pets Allowed' as soon as you walk through the door.

To refuse service to anyone with a disability is against Federal Laws and I hope the restaurant will make some changes. Until then, we will not eat there!!!

I did give my phone number to the visually challenged friend and I hope I get a call. Would love to take these ladies out to eat where the 'Service Dog' is allowed.

Ordered takeout. Received tiny portions. My aluminum foiled, round plate was the size of a small saucer. There was virtually no cheese on it. Was suppose to be covered in cheese. My 1st and last trip. Would maybe have given them another chance if I hadn't read the owners smart comments to people that had real complaints. He mocked them and played down their experiences. Sounded like a child was responding to the reviews!!

My husband and I eat here once a week. Love the place. The family owned business is the best. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. The staff is friendly, fast and welcoming. Best Mexican food in Kingsport by far.
