Cheeseburger Key West

While my husband and I were on our honeymoon in Key West, we were looking for a place to eat on Duval St that wasnt terribly crowded or high priced. After wandering around for a little while, we saw this place, where there seemed to be plenty of space. We examined the menu, and decided to give it a shot. We chose indoor seating, and were able to see the live band and watch Duval from our location. We came during happy hour, which I recommend, since all drinks are 1/2 price. We chose to get the pineapple mugs, since they were cute and tacky, yet hold a lot of booze. Plus, you get a discount when you bring them back! I chose the Shrooms and Swiss, while my hubby got the Cheeseburger 2(squared), and calamari for an appetizer. We wouldnt have needed the appetizer, since our burgers were so huge we could barely finish them! They were fresh and juicy, and delicious, and we only waited about ten minutes for them. The condiments came on the side, which was fantastic, since you could choose how much lettuce, etc. you wanted to put on your burger. The drinks were also to die for, and it took quite an effort to try to finish mine so I could get a refill before we left. The bathrooms are a bit shabby, but its just a bathroom, and at least it was cleaned, so I wasnt concerned. Overall, we loved the island atmosphere, our entertaining servers, and the delicious food. With 4 drinks, 2 pineapple souvenir mugs, calamari, and two fantastic burgers, we ended up spending about $65, which we didnt think was too bad, considering all that we got. We are going to head back there tonight for dinner during our last night here, and we cant wait!
