Caudill Electric

I trusted Caudill's Electrical to repair or replace my stand by generator. when the serviceman arrived he failed to inspect the generator outside for voltage output and, instead, said the transfer switch inside the basement was the problem. Ordering a new transfer switch, he said, "would fix the problem". It didn't. I ordered another part per his recommendation. It worked once but then the generator failed to run during a subsequent power outage. when the serviceman returned again he told me, "you need a new generator". I had already spend nearly $3k on parts and asked him if Caudill's could order a new generator which, he came back and said that "Caudill's couldn't order one because they weren't a dealer".
I wrote and asked for a refund but got no response nor to a follow up letter.

I'm writing this review in hope that others won't make the same mistake I made by calling Caudill's Electric.
