I got my first tattoo here and axeman did a amazing job. The environment is pleasant and comfortable to be in. Everyone is cool themselves and very pleasant to be around.

I found Crucible Tattoo on YP with a five star rating. I got my nose and ear pierced by Jack and she was awesome. Jack was very professional and she told me step by step of what she was going to do next and everything went smooth. I would highly recommend Crucible for any piercings. I really cant give a rating on tattoos because I didn't get one but I looked at their book's of tattoos and I would say they have awesome tattoo work but my favorite work I seen was done by Jay Miller.

So, I found Crucible BECAUSE of their great YP reviews. I got spider bite lip piercings and a nostril ring. I knew absolutely nothing about piercings when I walked through the door (never had a tattoo either), and was a little nervous. Jack was my piercer and she was AWESOME! Very funny, nice, and totally professional. She knew exactly what she was doing and made me feel super comfortable - not to mention she did a great job! I love my piercings, and I've been thinking about getting more already!



I lost my ball on my lip piercing while I was out volunteering the next day, so I went back to Crucible to get another one. I was slightly surprised they charged me an additional ten dollars for it, but the girl who put it on for me was very nice and also professional.



Overall, I highly recommend Crucible if you're looking to get a facial piercing in the Kent area! Ask for Jack!

I was refered by a friend to get a tattoo from Jonha Dunbar at Crucible. He was very professional and made me feel confortable even though I got my tattoo in a very insecure spot. The building itself was very neat and clean. Everyone on the staff was welcoming instantly, super friendly and very helpful. I will refer anyone and everyone to get a tattoo by Jonha. I will be going back for more very soon!

Jay Miller is a high caliber professional tattoo artist, with the experience and technique to back that claim up. More importantly; he has a passion for his work and concern toward giving the customer the best of his ability to produce tattoo artwork that you will be excited to display on your body. I received my first tatto at age 61 of a large piece dragon in traditional Japanese style on the upper half of my arm which is phenomenal. It is not just a tattoo - it is a "work of art" that I could sense Jay was passionate about producing. I only wish it was warm all year around in Ohio so I could keep it displayed. Can't wait to start on the lower half of my arm to complete a full sleeve. By the way, you can trust the other artists and apprentices at Crucible Tattoo to give you the best experience available also. My contact with everyone there was enjoyable. A friend of mine goes to artist Jonah Dunbar there and he has some great ink too.
