My first contact was very pleasant. They were very knowledgeable of their products and showed great respect for my property. I compared other companies from other customers and gained information on those companies but Sunlight showed the most professionalism and they appeared to be well established. Overall, what made me choose Sunlight over others was the quality of their products and the amount of information they provided me with. The crew was very honorable and they did a very good job on the installation. They were very neat and cleaned up every little thing they left. This company explained everything in detail to me before it was done. I would tell any future customer that this company is the most complete and professional company, and no one other than them would be best for the job. Highly Satisfied!

Honestly, I had gotten on Angies List and called the person with the most & best reviews (which at the time was not Sunlight Contractors) and had them come out to give me a quote. The guy came out, and I was surprised when he didnt even get in the attic. He told me he would measure it from the outside. He wasnt here very long and was a nice enough guy. I actually had to call him several times after that to actually get the quote from him.

So I got back on Angies list and went to the next guys on the list which was Sunlight Contractors. I set up the meeting time with them. The difference in how Sunlight dealt with me as a perspective customer compared to the first guy was night and day. The same day that I set up the inspection appointment they emailed me a fact sheet on spray foam insulation and some web links on places that I could go to get more information about the type of spray foam that should be used in residential homes. I felt much more prepared after that. They also sent copies of their insurance and licenses that they held which I thought reassuring especially since they were being so upfront with it all. It felt like they didnt have anything to hide. Alan showed up on time and was extremely polite. He got up in the attic and when he came down, he not only explained to me what he thought we needed to do up there for insulation but he also pointed out some issues with our electrical that I didnt even know we had, which I really appreciated. He went to his car for about 15 mins and came back with the quote printed up in his hand. I didnt have to wait long at all and the quote was very detailed which was very nice to see.

When the installers came out to spray the foam, they showed up on time and were very polite. They explained to me what they needed as far as access to the attic and away they went. The process took about 6 hours all together. After watching those guys work I am super glad I didnt try and tackle that job myself. It is true what they say. Insulation is a young mans game. After they were done they cleaned up after themselves and didnt leave a mess anywhere.

I could tell the difference right away in the temperature in our house. We didnt have hardly any insulation up in our attic so it was real difficult to keep the whole house one temperature without a bunch of fans. Now we dont have any fans on all day long and the whole house stays an even 70° - 72°. I am super excited to see how much money we will be saving this summer!

I’m a building contractor and I renovate homes. I have a lot of experience with home building. I researched Sunlight Contractors and was very impressed with their licenses and certifications throughout the construction industry. I asked them to rearrange their schedule so I could get a sub floor spray foamed for one of my customers that I had a deadline to meet.
I told Sunlight Contractors the job was 1350 square feet and they gave me a price over the phone. I accepted and Sunlight Contractors sent me the contract and I agreed on all the terms and they came out today and inspected the job.
To my surprise the owner Corey Yates re measured the job and told me I was off by 150 square feet and he reduced the payment accordingly. They are not only a professional company but an honest one also. The job came out great and we will use Sunlight Contractors on all our jobs.

I contacted Sunlight because of the strong mildew odor in the house we just purchased. I have a particularly small crawl space and was impressed they were able to get under the house to offer a quote and subsequently perform the job. Their representative Ira was excellent to work with as were the young men that performed the actual service. Everyone was professional and friendly. The gentlemen performing the service were courteous and cleaned up after themselves when they were finished.

The odor is gone! Excellent Job.

Sunlight contractors provided spray foam insulation in the attic and below the floors in an old single-family shotgun home that was always too hot or too cold.

It is a rental house and there was constant tenant turnover because the utility bills were too high and the place was uncomfortable. Through the summer, the thermostat was set at 73 or 74 and the temperature in the house stayed in the 80s.

I tried to fix the problem on my own by blowing in cellulose insulation twice, adding a radiant barrier in the attic, weatherstripping doors and sealing ductwork. I even had Entergy perform an audit on the electric meter. Nothing worked so I cut the rent to help with the high bills.

Alan came out to perform an energy audit on the house and quoted me for the spray foam insulation. I waited several months hoping my remedies would work but they did not. I decided to take one last shot at fixing the problem by calling Alan back to foam the house. So far, the house temp stays in line with the thermostat and now the attic even stays in the 80s. Problem finally solved!

Though the insulation has decreased the temperature in my home, I've continued to have cooling issues (unrelated to the attic insulation). Sunlight Contractors has gone ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure I'm satisfied and comfortable in my home. They even came out to work with my a/c repairman to conduct thermal imaging in an effort to identify and resolve the matter. I feel like I'm apart of the Sunlight Contractors family, and I recommend this outstanding company to any business or home owner in need of insulation/energy saving services! Applied Spray foam insulation to the bottom of my roof deck and gables, sealed the perimeter of my ceiling in the attic.
Fantastic!!! They were on time and worked 5-6 hrs. Nonstop! Totally cleaned up after they completed, they were very responsive and took care of my home like if it was their own, showed a lot of respect for my property! Corey Yates was a pleasure to talk to, answered my question without any hesitation, a true well knowledge professional! Kudos to the whole team, they worked like a well-oiled machine!

I have been absolutely blown away by my experience with Sunlight Contractors. From the very moment I called, Ira was helpful, responsive, and easy to talk to. After our first conversation he sent me all kinds of videos that educated me on exactly what was going on in my house and why it was losing so much heat in the winter and cool air in the winter.

I cannot tell you what it was a relief to find someone who was an expert in this field, that I could trust to guide me in the right direction. I shopped around for a couple quotes and Sunlight was on par—if not less than—other contractors that weren’t nearly as pleasant to work with or as knowledgable in their field.

Because I work at home I was in an extra hurry to get the work done and Ira bent over backwards to make sure it got on their schedule as quickly as possible. When his team arrived they were friendly, informative, and considerate and dare I say even fun to be around. They did what’s called a blower test and walked me around the house showing me where exactly all the air leaks are and giving me tips on how to improve things not even related to the work they were doing!

I’ve only had my spray foam attic installed today, so this glowing review is speaking to how awesome the Sunlight team is, without even having first hand experience with their product!! I’ll make sure to update my review once I’ve lived with my new roof for a few weeks but all signs point to me absolutely loving it.

If you are miserable in your house, and confused or frustrated about what to do about it, CALL THEM NOW and at least understand your options. They are great at educating newbie home owners like me without any sales pressure whatsoever.

Highly recommend Sunlight

I contacted Sunlight because my A/C constantly ran and would never shut off
during the day. In fact it wouldn't catch up till around 2 or 3:00 in the
morning. Ira sent me a lot of info and videos that were very helpful and Corey
came out and gave me an estimate that I was very pleased with. I decided to go
with the open foam insulation on the underside of my roof. On the morning of
the job when Alan and his crew showed up he explained to me everything they were going to be doing. They even covered up all of my stuff in the attic for me so they
wouldn't get any overspray on it. When they were finished they cleaned up so well
that I couldn't even tell they were ever there. Needless to say I am very happy
with the work that was performed. My A/C now runs a lot less. Can't wait to see
how much of a difference it makes on my electric bill. Ira and his staff are very professional and very easy to talk to. I would highly recommend Sunlight to anyone who needs this type of work done.

That statement is not an exaggeration in the slightest. From Start to finish they followed through on everything they said that they would do, their communication was excellent. The same day that I received the quote I also received an email with their proof of insurance, and a very thorough explanation of the material that they use. I felt much more informed about what I was purchasing and who I was purchasing it from.

Lets talk about the extra mile - About a 5 months after the spray foam was installed in my house. I had a plumbing issue that flooded my master bedroom (not at all related to the spray foam insulation). I called Ira at Sunlight Contractors to see if any of the work that I needed done could be done through Sunlight Contractors because of how excellent their service was with the spray foam. Ira told me that he currently didn't hold the specific Licenses to conduct the work I needed. But he did send two of his guys over to my house that same day to help me move furniture that would have been damaged if they stayed where they were.

Sunlight Contractors has made a loyal customer out of me. If there is something that I need done at my home or my place of business I will always call Sunlight Contractors first before anyone else. They are by far the best, not just because they do good work but because they care about their clients!

I was very please with my experience with Sunlight Contractors. They offered me a wealth of information beforehand about the spray foam insulation that I wanted for my attic. They came out to discuss my project and answer my questions. They gave me a competitive price.

When they came to do the job, they stated by doing a door blower test to see exactly how much air was leaking from my house. After the project was complete, they performed the test again, which showed a substantial reduction in leakage.

They were very professional throughout the process, and cleaned up nicely afterwards. I would highly recommend this company.

Tulane University's rowing team needed a dock that was close to the water to allow an easy launch and retrieval of their boats. I designed a plan and Sunlight Contractors came to my location and sprayed 6" of closed cell spray foam to the underneath of platform.

Over a year later, the dock is floating just as it did on day one, 6" on top of the water!

Tulane's crew coach told me it's the nicest dock system they've used! He then went on to say it's nicer than Harvard's floating dock system, it's super easy for the launch and retrieval of their boats!

The past few months have probably been the most difficult and stressful time of my life. My youngest son was born with a rare congenital disorder called agenesis of the corpus callosum. The affects of this disorder can range from virtually asymptomatic to severe neurological disabilities. The last thing I needed was to discover an extensive moisture and mold problem growing under the subfloor of my home. My husband searched for a company with stellar reviews and decided upon Sunlight Contractors. After dealing with this company I can understand why they have so many rave reviews. Clayton and his crew were out the next day pulling down insulation, remediating the mold and drying out the subfloor. Unfortunately, because the mold and moisture problem had been neglected for so long by the previous owner, all our flooring would need to be replaced. The flooring expert came out that night measuring how much we’d need and began demo within 3 days of his initial visit. Sunlight Contractors have been professional, fast and fairly priced. They have made what is a very stressful time in my life so much easier and I am very grateful. They’ve allowed me to focus on my family and not have to worry about my house. I know my house is in good hands.

I called on a Wednesday and Mr. Ira called me back immediately. He answered many of my questions over the phone. We set up an appointment for an estimate on the Friday of the same week. Corey, one of his employees, finished up a job early and was able to come out on that Thursday to take all his measurements and answered all the questions that had occurred to me since my conversation with Ira. We received and accepted the quote on the next day. There was a crew at my house the Saturday of the same week to remove the old insulation. The crew that came out was awesome; they were very friendly and cleaned up the house very well. The foam crew came in that following Monday and did great job. They were prompt courteous and also cleaned up well. It's been 2 weeks now of 90° + temperatures and the 20 year old AC unit in the house isn't struggling to keep up anymore. We had a wonderful experience with Mr. Ira and his crew of professional and hardworking individuals. This company delivers exceptional professional service fueled by deep expertise. If you are thinking about getting spray foam done, stop thinking and do it. I recommended Sunlight to a couple friends and family and they're calling to have the work done.

Communication was great the owner Mr. Ira Bosh kept me up to date with all info answered all my questions and also followed through with everything to the end. We have a significant moisture problem under our home. The main part of the house is over 100 yrs old. It started with reports from various companies (termite inspector, AC serviceman, etc.) . We met a man who had used Sunlight for a similar problem. We contacted Ira Bosh and who had our home inspected the same day. Right now we are in the middle of repairs. We have a problem not only with moisture, but also with damaged wood, a very serious problem. So far, every thing has gone will. There's still a lot of work to be done.

We decided to go with Sunlight Contractors because of their credentials and how thorough their contract is. They invited us to tour a home they sprayed so we could examine the quality of their workmanship. We were impressed that there was no nasty odor from off-gassing! Can't say the same for other companies we considered. Also, they use a quality foam that has a higher R value than other companies and they are not skimpy about applying it. Also, the owner is very responsive and is great to work with. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Our project is set for March 14-16, 2018 so I will update once our job has been completed.

Sunlight Contractors recently installed open-cell spray foam insulation in our attic. We immediately felt the difference in our home. The house is not as drafty and the heater comes on less frequently. The temperature in the attic is only a few degrees different than inside the house. It’s great to be able to store things in the attic again. The workmen were friendly and efficient for both the fiberglass removal and the foam installation. They came on time, worked quickly, and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely recommend Sunlight Contractors to my friends.
