Teeter Tots Montessori

Teeter Tots is an exceptional preschool/daycare. As an elementary teacher, I can say I am so thankful for the year our grandson spent here. The mother-daughter teacher team of Linda and Judy are so caring, skilled, and knowledgeable. They provide both a nurturing and educational environment in which all children, despite their unique natures, feel loved and happy. The combination of hands on learning, encouragement, positive guidance, and time for outside play is just what is needed for children of this age. In addition, there are well-planned field trips, monthly parent newsletters, and monthly parents' nights/potlucks focused on topics related to child development and that also give parents a time to get to know and support each other. On top of it all, Teeter Tots is affordable! You won't regret the decision to enroll your child at Teeter Tots--a truly special place for children and parents alike

Our daughter has been at Teeter Tots Montessori for a year now, and she is absolutely thriving. She has always been smart and independent, and Teeter Tots has nurtured those qualities while also teaching her how to play well with others, respect boundaries, and understand consequences. I highly recommend Teeter Tots to anyone looking for high quality (and, shockingly, affordable) child care.

Since my son started going to Teeter Tots, he has developed so much. Not only has he developed socially with the other kids but his language and other learning skills have increased. He has thrived there. The environment is very positive and learning focused.

I like that Teeter Tots believes in giving kids many different learning experiences and not just warehousing children. There are many field trips and adventures. I don't know if they still do this, but they used to give parenting classes to help the children's home life as well. They always put the child first which has made some enemies over the years when they reported parents to DSHS. But they have done this despite it costing them money and making an enemy who writes nasty reviews of them. But it is good for the other kids to not have an abused child acting out in their midst. Many relationships started at Teeter Tots have carried on long passed the time of enrollment. I don't know of a better preschool.
