All Paint and Drywall

Absolutely run from this buisness. We gave Bruce 2,225.00 deposit in July and they still haven't showed up to do the job.first it was a health issue for weeks. Then Some excuse about accounts frozen and he can't repay us. He said he would be there a few times then poof another excuse. I will leave this review posted untill I have received my $$$.
BBB is next and small claims court.

Beware. This company is extremely dishonest and stole our money. Thank god we finally fired them and the nightmare is over. Nightmare is an understatement. They have been working for us since April. Amongst many lies by the owner the company has not even begun the work on the interior and ran off with our money. They took 2 months to complete a small exterior painting job and charged us 4 times as much. They would just stop working completely until you paid them. The owner will constantly lie and make excuses and act unprofessional.. There are many better options and I suggest you use someone else. Don't waste your time or your money. All paint & co broke windows, stole money, drank on site, didn't show up for weeks at a time, left numerous messes daily, didn't complete work, and didn't return phone calls and constantly made excuses why they couldn't work. We are now proceeding with a civil court matter. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

We hired Bruce at All Paint and Drywall to paint our kitchen cabinets and kitchen trim. He not only bought the wrong color paint (I SPECIFICALLY told him Benjamin Moore's White Dove, but he put on his contract (which my husband missed) and bought Behr brand Dover White), which we paid him for up front, but he neglected to cover our brand new refrigerator when he sanded down the entire kitchen leaving layers of black sand dust on the appliance and thought the kitchen and adjoining utility room. He then told us that he had to paint the cabinet doors and drawers at his house, which he refused to return and we had to have the local police escort us to have our items returned, this was also after he demanded more money, which we paid just to get the items returned. After bringing the doors and drawers back to our home, we were APPALLED at the paint job he did with just the primer on some of the cabinet doors. Paint runs and ripples (a professional painter we had come look at them called this "orange peel") from a ROLLER when it was clearly stated on the contract that the items were to be sprayed. He did inform us that his sprayer was broke and wanted us to pay for the rental of a sprayer to finish the work. He also blamed the rainy weather OUTSIDE from affecting his ability to paint INSIDE. After asking other PROFESSIONAL painters about this, they confirmed that painting INSIDE should not be affected by the rain OUTSIDE. He was an absolute nightmare to deal with, grumbled the whole time he was here, talked about seeing aliens and ghosts and showed up the couple of times in a foul mood. He bad-mouthed the neighbors and shared stories with me that I won't post. Hire this painter at your own risk. ****UPDATE: This painter continued texting my husband the next week to call us liars and to say that he was going to tell others that I am a racist. Apparently, this painter has not investigated me the way I have now looked into him, or he would know this is a completely false statement. Anyone can look into my family members, which includes different skin colors, and those that know me both personally and professionally, would laugh at his statement. He also drove by our house with someone in his passenger seat hanging their arm out their window with a cell phone in what appeared to be video taping of me and my husband and some people working on the outside of our house (that company, by the way, was WONDERFUL and PROFESSIONAL). We have hired other painters in the past, along with plumbers, electricians and so forth, and we have always had nice, professional people who did a good job for us. Of course, we usually went by word of mouth or sought out references on those people first. This is the first time that a trade has caused so much complication and actually made me fearful.

Bruce was very friendly and professional. I really appreciated him being upfront and honest every step of the way as well as his extremely fair pricing. I will most definitely be calling him back when our next project comes up.
