Very nice people who work in the office. Very nice quite neighborhood. That all I require. I love it here.
problems problems and not luxury living by any means, BE AWARE of the lease and if you have an early move out, I paid over $3000 to move out early( when we had a job transfer)and was told by tammy the manager that if they rented the apartment back out they would refund my money and for me to call and check to see if it was rented, upon calling to see if it was rented, tammy recanted and said there would not be a refund if they rented it out. Dont expect any of your pet deposit to be refunded either, even if your animals are very well behaved and clean. They charge $5 per nail hole upon move out, so you can imagine what else they charge even though our apartment was spotless, they still charged us for many things we had cleaned thoroughly. I paid a $1400 deposit to move in, $3000 to move out and was only there for 4 months, and I am happy to have moved only quite upset that I encountered as many problems as it seemed like a nice place but it really wasnt.
the apartment had sugar ants, which are resistant to normal pest control, I would find these ants in my dog food in the pantry and out by the sink and by the stove after cooking, I kept my apartment very clean and it was annoying to find bread with ants as well as any tiny item you may have left in the sink, it would be covered in ants which I found to be socially embarrassing if company was over..... they have a fishing lake which has no fish, so my husband was disappointed as we moved there just so he could fish on his time off......if you expect fed ex or ups or a large postal order keep in mind they have a package acceptance service and the office employees act like they are doing you a favor when indeed it is their job, and they sign for any packages you get and I had some carlos mencia tickets misplaced. Also, parking is a problem as well for my husband finding a space( I had a garage parking space for myself(at $75 extra a month), the entry gate always had problems opening so half the time it was left open, so there was no security, if thats what you were looking for with a gated community. However for security the pool was always locked after september, even though it was summer weather outside, I never got to go swimming, and the indoor gym they would just leave the windows opened so it was very hot to work out. I strongly suggest if you are reading this to look for other apartments in katy, I found willow lake on apartments.com and they were the first apartment complex to return my call, but there were many others in katy that are nice and new. Willow lake apartments are 5 years old
