Langley Recycling

We used Langley for over 20 years. They had a major management change. Started charging $100 set fee and $100 pick up fee, added bogus charges including fuel surcharges. Wanted us to use 5 yard container instead of our normal 40 yard container. Thus more pick up and set fees.
This is how you treat a public entity, we are a school. We train welders how to weld. We do nothing but generate scrap. We have grown to 60 students and we are typically generating about 2-5 tons of steel scrap a week.
Guess what, Langley ain’t getting it. Langley used to pay us $800-$1,000 per container of scrap. Then when the market tanked we just donated it to them.
Well then comes these new people with their wonderful way of screwing clients and there ya go, by - by Langley.
City Scrap metal pays us and don’t charge a single fee, they get the fact that we are a public entity funded by tax dollars.
Langley needs to do some serious investigation into where all the money they are collecting goes and who is reaping the benefits of ripping people off. The management is rude and they s*ck.
It’s a shame, the last time that we used them they had run off all but two drivers and one of them was a retired gentleman that is worth ten times his weight in gold, bet he’s gone now too!

I always enjoy my experience with Langley. The customer service is always excellent and the prices are great. They go above and beyond to make sure each customer is satisfied. The customer appreciation day is the best. Thanks for doing an awesome job.
