John A Krugh Realty

I lived in a house we rented from John A. Krugh Realty for nearly 5 years- my husband and I only moved out because we relocated to Austin Tx. I always enjoyed and liked renting from Krugh Realty- but after living in Austin for a year I didn't know just how GREAT they really were! Our new landlords at an apartment complex have awful customer service, constantly claim we owe money on our rent (and we have to dig up bank records, receipts etc to prove we don't.) In the year we have lived here in Austin we have experienced the WORST of renting, and my husband and I often say if we get the chance to move back to Kansas City, our first call will be to Krugh Realty. They were ALWAYS friendly, fair, honest, and organized. In my opinion, best landlord and rental company we have ever had!

John Krugh realty was s great company to rent from. We rented two properties from them, spanning over 5 years, and they have been a dream to rent from. Eric could not be more professional, courteous and kind. Very responsive to maintenance issues, personal e-mails and phone calls. I highly recommend John Krugh realty to anyone looking for a home in Kansas City!

One word... slumlord. They refuse to fix things like leaking roofs, non functioning gutters, drains, etc. If you press them, they will fix it, sort of, and raise the rent. It took nearly a year to have the porch railing fixed, the fall would have been about 6 feet onto concrete. Our neighbors whose homes are managed by krugh have learned not to report problems for fear of increased rent. When we moved in the house was filthy and there were several truckloads of construction trash in the backyard covered by piles of leaves and tree debris. We didn't discover this until we went to thin down the overgrown vegetation. After drastically improving the appearance of the property they still want to fight tooth and nail about when our notice to vacate actually takes effect. Be warned, stay away from these people (especially the maintenance manager, possibly the most unpleasant person in the world.)
