Dr. Armisa Tongson Cullens, MD

Dr. Cullens has been my seven childrens doctor for fourteen years. All of my friends and family take their children to her as well. She has been right 99.9% of the time and never gives up. She has always been able to squeeze my children in for a last minute appointment and we always see her not an RN. The office is clean, with a fun, friendly environment for the entire family. We love you Dr. Cullens!

The Dr. Is okey on medicine wise. But professionalism is the lowest it can be. She works with her husband (office manager). I have Comercial insurance so they never seem to have a problem with me, they offered me water and always tried to kiss my behind. my sister on the other hand has medicaid she always told me about how horrible they would treat her! And its true the office manager tried to talk ish about medicaid people with me?! Talking about how they live of the government and live of our taxes and such. He treated hiz staff like crap! He would yell at them in front of patients and when he dosent like "certain" people he makes them wait and treats them horribly!! They are BOTH money hungry!! They dont care about your kids health they only want the money. They have lost so many patients through out the years.So i ended up switching Drs. PLEASE do yourself a favor let your fam. And friends know this Dr is a Mistake!!

My 3 year old daughter has been with Dr. Cullens since birth. Dr. Cullens offered good advice over the years, but the staff has always bothered me. We put up with the staff as we felt sage medical advice was more important than friendly staff. We were very wrong.



We moved away from Kansas City a few months ago, first for a few months in Dallas, Texas then to London, UK. We requested medical records from 4 doctors between the various family members. We paid all fees, filled out change of address forms, and signed records requests with each of them. We should have known something was wrong when Dr. Cullens office required double the fee of the other providers. A few weeks later we had received all records from 3 of the doctors, but the records from Dr. Cullens were still missing.



We are now over two months past the initial request. After countless calls, begging, pleading, and doing everything we could to try and get theses records we have been told that we must now resubmit the request and fees with nothing more than cruel words, lies that they had not received forms that other office staff had already confirmed countless times, and no hope that they will ever remedy the situation regardless of what hoops we are willing to jump through.



Our daughter is due her 3 year shots, and we have no idea what she has had to date. We will have no record of her immunizations or medical history up until the age of 3. We also have no idea what ramifications this will have in a foreign country.



If you are like me and your child is the most important thing in your world, avoid this place. Ultimately, we were lucky. With the complete disregard for humanity that this office has repeatedly demonstrated over the past few months I am horrified to think that we were probably the lucky ones.

stay away from here, the employee's arent sure about what they are doing!!!(freehelp) Dr is rude and dont listen...the little man is very rude dont know if he works there(hope not) but very dissatisfied with her over heard them talking about medicaid people!!! it wasnt nice she needs help

This is the most inept practice I've ever seen. The office staff is extremely rude not to mention the 45min to an hour office wait for a check up. When I first took my daughter to Dr. Cullens I filled out the necessary paperwork and marked in big bold letters that she was allergic to Penicillin. I notified the nurse , the assistant and the doctor when she came to do a check up. The first time, Dr. Cullens wrote a script for Amoxicillin, I explained my daughter is allergic to Penicillin and we were instructed for her not to take any meds of the "cillin" family. She proceeded to write a script anyway and said "oh that's just a myth" then handed it to me. I kindly explained I preferred to have a different medication as I did not want to end up in the ER with my daughter due to her allergy. She said "that's the prescription I write for ear infections, take it or leave it" What kind of physician says this? obviously she did not go to medical school let alone graduate from one if she is writing scripts that kids are allergic too!! If you love your children, DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE, THIS PRACTICE IS MALPRACTICE WAITING TO HAPPEN!!! BEWARE!!!!
