Medical Corner

I visited the Medical Corner on 4/27/2015 and met W/Dr. Lim totally awesome doctor, when done I asked what my co-pay was, told 12.00 I paid in full. On 4/12/2016 had another visit again with Dr. Lim and he took care of my ailment and I paid the co-pay of 12.00. Today received notice that due to the taxes due on just the first visit that I had not recd any notice of, I owed 50.00 late fee & 50.00 collection fee on 5.79 of taxes. I was also quoted another doctors name, Robert B Sussman who I had not seen. I am scared that I will shortly receive a notice that due to the 3.53 in taxes owed on the 4/12/16 visit that I also did not receive notice of until notice dtd 9/19/16 that I will owe another 100.00 in fees. My client also recd one of these notices & she had paid her co-payment but due to the wording of the collection agency she paid the additional fees because she was scared so I am now contemplating hiring a family attorney friend who specializes in civil suits & malpractice to resolve this issue with an intimidating collection agency that the owners of Medical Corner have employed.
