This final task was difficult for my husband and as he walked into their office he was indecisive about what he wanted done. Olga took him by the hand and very patiently walked him through his choices and helped him make a selection that he felt would honor his mother. She was diligent about keeping us informed on how things were coming along, even sending us a drawing of what the headstone would look like and a picture when the product was finalized. Excellent customer service. This company takes pride in their work and delivered beautiful craftsmanship in the headstone. The stone is a beautiful color and the etching is finely detailed and sharp. I found Monumental Art Works online and something just told me to call this place. I called Olga and she was very helpful from the beginning. When we went in we explained to her we did not have very much money and told her what my mom wanted and we was able to have exactly what we wanted and for a very good price. They were a really great help in showing us different designs, different ways of etching and vases all just very proffesional. They delivered the Stone to the cemetery yester coincidently it had made 5 months yesterday also from his passing and to much my mother's surprise the cemetery were installing it and my mother was just so happy with Monumental's work. We went to Monumental Art Works on the recommendation of our funeral director. Although it was a bit challenging to find, the effort was certainly worth it. Everyone at Monumental was a delight to work with, they listened to our rather unique ideas, ( a monument with two family names, of vastly unequal letter length), and devised a finished product that far exceeded our expectations. Their suggestions and experience helped us to acquire a beautiful monument that will be both distinctive and repectful to the deceased, ( which will eventually include these reviewers). We couldn't recommend them more enthusiastically to future customers.

I live in California and found Monumental Art Works online. After browsing their website we decided to order our daughter's head stone through them, I found a certain design only they had. When I called to order, Olga was very kind and made the process so easy, and it arrived across the country so quick. The finished stone is beautiful pink with a angel in corner.

My husband and I lost our daughter Isabella in Jan 2012. We had no idea where to get a headstone and the cemetery just gave us a list of the places they had worked with in the past with no recommendations. We looked over the list and looked up what places we could online. Monumental Art Works stood out to us and we callled for an appt. We met with Olga and she was extremely compassionate as well as Knowledgeable. They even offered a payment plan since my husband was out of work. Sadly we still couldnt afford the payments so we delayed the purchase even though it was very affordable. When we had the money collected we went back to Olga. With in two weeks she had a proof to us ..When we made our final payment I told Olga how much I hoped the cemetery would put the stone down before my daughters first birthday in Jan. Olga put a rush on my little order and it was deliever to the cemetery a week later. She made my greatest wish come true and they did an exceptional job

I can't say enough about Olga and Monumental Art Works. My 20-year old son passed away tragically and we were arguing with this other company about what could be on a headstone. We were referred to Olga by our funeral director and she was so compassionate and calm, easy to work with, and very available. She even came to our house in the evening and showed us samples on her IPad. "No" isn't in her vocabulary. She really tries to work with you and keeps you informed through the entire process. A bereaved family shouldn't have to have a bad experience. And their prices are very reasonable, too. And don't let the distance from Blue Island stop you from contacting them...we live on the north shore.

It was God who led me to Monumental Art Works. My dad passed away in December 2010 and my mom wanted to wait until the ground settled before we put a headstone down. A year later I began my search. I went to two places: one on 119th & Kedzie that advertised as being sort of wholesale, but the salespeople were cold and did not make you feel appreciated; either you paid what they charged or well. The other place; a cemetery which a friend of my mom's used, but they were not professional enough and the prices were close to the place on Kedzie. Then one morning on my way to work on the train, I passed the Monumental Art Works sign. I called when I got to work and went in soon after. I instantly liked Olga, the owner's daughter. She's not only beautiful on the outside, but also the inside. And after meeting her dad, "The Sculptor", I knew right away where she got it from. They made me feel so appreciated. The cost was absolutely unbeatable and the finish product "PRICELESS".
