A Horrific Outcome For A Simple Nail Trim Service DO NOT take your dogs to Pampered Pups located at 2011 Essington Road in Joliet. On Friday, our furry loved family member, went to Pampered Pups on Essington and Fiday Road for a routine nail trim and was severely injured. Apparently during this simple service, his tail was caught in a nail grinder and wrapped around it. He was rushed to the vet to eventually find out that his tail could not be saved and had to be amputated. I am saddened and still in disbelief. They rushed and were careless...a get them in and get them out attitude in my opinion. After further investigation, this place of business has many "groomers" (I use that term lightly) that are not even certified and/or CPR certified. Their reckless behavior endangered our dogs safety. Please share with as many people as you can, so this or anything else does not happen to another dog. I am not even posting pictures because it is far too sad.

Rachel groomed my dogs and they looked fabulous! We found our groomer! Yay!

I had a great experience. Been looking for a a grooming place I could trust for quite a while and I'll be a customer for life. Very friendly staff, inviting setting, they seem to love animals, and most important- Max (my dog) loves it there!
