Poor Quality of work on vintage trailers, rarely answers phone, takes payment and does not render work done!

We dropped our trailer off in Fall of 2015 to get a number of things fixed. We paid a considerable amount down and were expected to have the trailer back before Christmas. Long story short, we picked up our trailer in June 2016 because we just couldn't wait any longer. The trailer is in worse condition than it was when we left it. The owner was not there (we assumed he had deliberately avoided us) and we were not required to pay the remaining balance because it was so obvious nothing had been done. Over the course of the time our trailer was in the shop, we called the owner over 50 times to get information about the status of the job and calls were rarely answered or returned. We are now forced to finish the job ourselves with a baby on the way in the heat of summer. We cannot even begin to explain our disappointment and the predicament we are now in due to their lack of professionalism.
