Moving Cross County

DO NOT USE THEM!!! We moved from VA to CO, it took them over 1 month to deliver and when they delivered half of our things are missing and what it arrived is damaged really bad. The person in charge of everything there is named Ronny, please DO NOT TRUST HIM!!!! Every word of his is a lie. We are working with the police and lawyers to get out of this.

I wanted to leave a review for these guys because they truly did a FANTASTIC job! I moved from OH to MD. My stuff was picked up on 6/1 and delivered on 6/5. My good friend also used them to move from NJ to NY last month. She too had a great experience. We most likely will move in 3 years so we hope to use them again. The best part I have to say is their binding fee that does not change upon pick up. Personally, I think that the people that have a problem with this company is because they hired a broker that then out sourced to them. I think that hiring a broker is a mistake because they will lie to you about everything. If you call them directly, they will be honest about the whole process. Anyway, that's my two cents! I used this company to move from NC to MD. I have nothing but outstanding things to say about them and the movers. The guys were so polite and efficient. They wrapped up my apt in 3 just 3 hours. I received the delivery the very next day. I requested a binding price from the beginning because I did not want to deal with wondering how much the truck was going to end up weighting or with wondering how many cf it would take. My price therefore remained the same. I don't think a moving experience could go any better than this. If i have to move again (i hope not!) I would use them.

My experience with Moving Cross Country was terrible.

1) Our drivers were late at both pick up and delivery.

2) The quote we were given was nearly half of what was actually demanded of us on moving day. They threatened to unload the truck in the parking lot if we didn’t pay.

3) One of our loaders demanded a tip from us right after doubling the price.

4) Virtually every piece of furniture sustained some type of damage, some of it rather severe. My wife and I were able to move these by ourselves on previous moves without as much as a scratch.

5) We should have taken pictures of the boxes when they arrived. Some of them were smashed beyond recognition (although they had managed to survive previous moves just fine).

6) Some of our boxes never even showed up. We tried calling to see if the movers could locate them, but nobody ever called back with any information one way or the other.

Worst service ever! DOUBLED the quoted price!!!!

They kept my stuff and would not give it back until I paid them almost twice what I was quoted for! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!

STAY AWAY !!!! where to start… Rony is “the customer service rep” worst customer service ever, if you want to have a person repeat himself over and over he is your person; the driver has better customer service than he does. They will over charge from the original quote (I was quoted $3000 and ended up paying $5000.00 and they did not take everything that I was quoted for the move) and will then nickel and dime you over everything!!!!! Go to a better company!
