Dr. Martha Diane Langberg, PHD

I personally have more to say than I could ever expect any of you to read, so I will keep it brief. Diane Langberg is, without a doubt, the most knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, skilled therapist, with her credentials far surpassing even the most respected and learned among those in her profession. Many therapists are brilliant, yet have no sense of how to love another well. Many can love, yet have little knowledge of how the human heart and mind work, rendering both useless to a client who has no idea how to navigate out of the prison they are in, whether self made or other. The care of one who is not only learned, but also knows the way bc of many years of experience, and also a giftedness from and love of Jesus, is the best one could hope for. I travel each month by plane several hours to meet with her. SHE KNOWS THE WAY!!! And for her, TRUTH and Jesus Christ are the compass. It is so incredibly comforting to know that He leads and is present in every session. Diane has a deep love for her Savior, which spills over to her clients, even when you yourself do not feel or see Him, yet long to. One does not normally go to see someone such as Diane when their life is running smoothly, nor do you go to share the best of yourself, as she has reminded me. It hurts. It is excruciatingly painful to open up the dark places, the "rooms" in us that need truth and light, yet somehow she walks alongside in a way that allows you to live. I have to say I absolutely do not understand the individual who claims Diane is motivated by money. Shame on you! I have found the exact opposite to be true! Her schedule could be full up with speaking engagements, with her charging crazy amounts, yet she is sitting in a very modest office, charging far below what her expertise could command. Why? She is passionate about what God has called her to. Money is not the motivator! In closing, if you are ever privileged enough to sit with her, DO SO!!! I am humbled to do so, and have at the deepest level been known by another human being. She enters in, and stays. She speaks truth, and it somehow "goes in", even if not initially. Over time you cannot help but trust her, for you cannot find her to be anything then what she claims, a lover of Jesus and truth who is passionate about helping people be set free. She has said, "He wants you free". And I am now convinced she is right.
