Located in Jeffersonville, Ind., the Utica Township Fire & EMS department offers a range of services, such as firefighting, vehicle rescue, technical rescue and hazardous material response. Its jurisdiction areas include Utica Township, Jeffersonville Township and New Albany Township. It serves more than 30,000 residents and operates various stations. The department consists of more than 45 personnel, including investigators, firefighters, captains, engineers and paramedics. Its staff responds to various calls related to emergency rescue and toxic materials. The Utica Township Fire & EMS department maintains a fleet of trucks, engines, ambulances and utility cabs.
