Very unhappy with Nate's attitude gave me a lecture for not making a 6 week appointment in front of other clients!

I can't believe this place has some rotten reviews! My husband bought me a gift certificate for a spa package for valentines day and I absolutely loved it! The staff was fantastic and catered to anything I needed/wanted. I will definitely be returning to The Springs Salon and Spa!

I received a gift certificate for this salon, so I decided what the heck, I will try it out. I called a week early to make my appt. The day before my appt the salon called me to confirm I would be at my appt. I arrived about ten minutes early and was told that my stylist was off that day, but they would call someone to come in. First red flag! I waited another thirty minutes and she finally arrived. Right off the bat she told me that after I got my perm I would need to buy some of their products to restore my hair. My hair was in good shape from using Redkin,Biolage, etc..quality products. She proceeded to wrap my hair and never said a word. In fact, the whole atmosphere was unfriendly and not warm in there. My stylist didnt know how long to leave on my perm and in fact didnt leave it on long enough. I got a spiral which usually has some spring, but my hair was flat and frizzy. She dried it with a diffuser which she told me they sold there by the way, and actually had one waiting for me at the register when I got up to it. ($17 for it, I declined). Then I wanted to use up my gift card so I would never have to return, so I bought ISO for curly hair bundle and the shampoo is terrible, NO lather at all! Finally the girl at the register suggested I get the gel for curly hair another $13 by Wella, and when I got it home I discovered its not gel, its curl definer, and a poor quality one at that. The whole experience was awful, and I felt like they pushed products on me the whole time trying to make a sale, and the friendliness and warmth of the workers....ugh. For spending $100 there, you would think I would be happier.
