I purchased a Colt XSE from them recently. The sales staff was friendly and knowledgable. They answered all the questions I had and did not try and sale me something I did not want. The owner was willing to haggle over the price and gave me the gun for a price that was better than ones I found in other stores, and close to what I could have gotten it off the internet. I will definitely be going back for future purchases and would recommend this store to anyone.

Several years ago I purchased a Benelli Montefeltro shotgun from this dealer. I started hunting Federal Migratory game birds and needed a plug for the magazine. As with several of my other shotguns, this involves pulling the cap off the magazine and inserting your own wooden plug. Possessing limited gunsmithing skills, I did not want to start "tearing apart" my new shotgun. I called St. Nicholas with my problem and they asked me to bring the gun to their store. We stripped the gun down on the counter and the Manager brought back a factory authorized metal rod plug and installed it on the spot. No charge for the plug ($10.00). That's what I call taking care of your customers.

I went into St. Nicholas guns looking for a XD45 compact and actually spoke to the owner. When asked if they had one in stock, he tried selling me something I did not want (standard) and said they do not make what I wanted. However, according to springfield armory's website, every other gunstore in jacksonville, and the fact that I have seen them with my own eyes previously, they do make one. I would not recommend buying from a store that does not even know about the firearms they stock. On a previous trip into the store, I witnessed the owner lose his temper with a dissatisfied customer and slam his fist down on the glass counter breaking the glass. I wish I could say different as they do have a good inventory, they just dont know anything about what they have.

The best gun shop in Jacksonville. I have purchased once from Shooters and they will never have my business again as that place is run like a used car lot, trying to sell you something you don't want with inflated prices. So I found St Nicholas Gun. I walked in they greeted me and asked if they can help and I told them what I wanted. They didn't currently have the rifle I was looking for in stock, the owner promptly made three phone calls and I was given a price which was better than anything I have found online or anywhere without even haggling. I promptly purchased my new rifle filled out the paperwork and was out the door in fifteen minutes. Amazing. Two days later I got a phone call that my new Savage rifle was in and I got the same great service to complete my transaction. If they do have it in stock they can get it for you. Looking forward to doing business again in the near future.

I have to truly say i had a excellent experience at St Nicholas Gun and sporting Goods they provides the best customer service i ever had, not only do they provide excellent service but they are very knowledgeable about guns, They were able to answer all my question and provide information that i need to know about carrying a gun include when classes are offered also when and how to send off for your license. They were just alot of help and for that i give them a five star.

I AM A MOTHER OF TWO, WHO RECENTLY HEARD ABOUT A RECENT BREAKIN IN THE AREA I LIVE. I CAME INTO THE STORE WHERE I WAS GREETED BY A VERY LOVELY YOUNG LADY. WHO SEEMED TO BE ABOUT MY SIZE. SHE HELPED WITH MY FIRST GUN PURCHASE. I WASN'T SURE WHAT I WANTED OR WHAT I NEEDED ,BUT I WALKED AWAY VERY SATIFIED!

I have shopped here a few times for ammo and guns and they were impersonal and borderline rude everytime. When you walk in they are sure to announce the guns on their hips and scour at you. When I purchased a $1200 Sig Sauer the sales clerk was still impersonal and didnt seem to appreciate my sale. He even asked the owner if he "we do this" when I paid with my credit card. Personality aside, the prices are high compared to other gun stores in the area.

Called to ask a question, said no and slam the phone down. won't do business there again.
