Royal Essence Spa & Nails

I'm really not sure why this place has such a low rating...I'm a Jacksonville native and have been to almost every nail salon in town. This one, by far is the best one in Jax! Their pedicures are amazing, especially for the price. They give you a hot stone massage & a paraffin wax for 28 bucks. That's unheard of! They are also so accommodating and lets be honest free cookies and slushie, they've got me hooked! I moved to DC and refused to go anywhere else. I would come home once every two months and the first thing I would do is get a pedicure at royal essence. Now that I live in Japan...my toes only get done once every 6 months. Yup you guessed it, only at royal essence! I seriously love this place and anyone that has given it less than 5 stars is unrealistic! This place will forever have my Business!

Worst customer service in jacksonville and good luck getting them to fix or refund your botched nail job.

Staff is so beyond rude. Salon is filthy and gaudy. Services are overpriced and shoddy at best. Services include paint, everything else costs extra. So when you ask for a manicure, know that you will have to pay extra for anything that is not polish. When I politely questioned why everything was so expensive, I was told to leave. This was after the nail tech threw sample gel polish colors at me after misplacing them for 10 minutes. I then went to the owner who was standing at the front desk and he told me that it would be another 45 minute wait for a new nail technician. He did not even seem phased or appalled that one of his workers spoke to a customer the way that she did. They do not deserve to be in business. Take your money else where.
