Reading this reviews I was really surprised at the one star reviews and the negative reviews that accompanied that rating.They must be the owner or family of an owner of another pawn shop or they must be the type of person to bring outdated near worthless electronics in thinking they have gold and get upset when the proprietor kindly tells them he cannot give them big bucks for it because one it is outdated and not worth what you are asking and two you have a track record of not coming back to get your items out of pawn."One of the 10 WORST pawn shops".I Guess this guy hasn't been to the pawn shop on Normandy Blvd by the Wal-Mart Supercenter which is definitely one of the worst out there.That being said when I am in need a a pawn shops services I have to pass 7 pawn shops en route from my house to Jax Jewelry & Pawn and I don't even think of stopping any where else along the way because most of those pawn shops are your condescending stereotypical pawn shops that are out to screw you over and have horrible customer service.As many times as I have dealt with Jax Jewelry & Pawn I find the service excellent and fair.The man I usually deal with at the counter is always courteous and makes sure I am satisfied before I leave and most of the time we talk of our families and how everything is going at the time wihile we are handling our business and oft times we will still be conversing for another five minutes or so after our transaction as long as there are not any customers waiting.100% professional and fair and that is the reason I pass so many pawn shops and just deal with them.If you are need of a pawn shops services look no further than Jax Jewelry and Pawn

I love coming in to both of these shops, lots of cool items at great prices. Super clean, always friendly staff. Sold some gold and got almost double what i was offered by another shop down the road.

I LOVE THIS STORE!!! Great staff, great prices, and great products. I got an engagement ring, 2 games for my son's ps3, and 2 dvds and still payed less than $100.00. WOW

Horrible place, they are only out to get your money. the shop is full of false advertising, putting fake prices on things etc. There are much better pawn shops out there!

I have always come here for many reasons and the biggest reason is that jax pawn keeps it real they dont try to screw people over, just because you here something you dont like (the truth) doesnt make them a bad company to deal with and the fact that you work for another pawn shop of course you would say negative stuff andys response is good make an unbiased opinion there real and give realistic prices and offers thanks for everything jax pawn keep up the good work

X-box 360 and PS3 games for ten bucks?!?!?! i didnt believe my buddy when he told me so i went into the store to see for myself. I was greeted like a human being. The guys behind the counter were super nice and all seemed like they knew their stuff. I recomend this shop to everyone.

I have my moms bring me buy this store a couple times a week after school to look at games. The dudes at the counter know my name, which is cool and they always have new systems, games and cool accesories. I just got a new game, so Im good for a couple days,but I will be back soon, Keep up the good work guys, the moms says we wont shop anywhere else becaus the prices are so fair thankyou

I have to say of all the pawn shops in the area this one has the friendliest staff, and the best loan terms. Every item i have ever put up for loan came back in the exact condition i left it in. All the items i have bought have been reasonably priced and in good shape. They sell dvds for 2 bucks a piece how can you beat that? Overall great store would recommend this place to anyone looking for a loan or to sell some gold.

the employees were very unfriendly and seemed as thou they had no experience in pawn it was like they were playing shop. i felt as thou there pricing was ridiculous. i would recommend cash america they are great!! i have been an employee of cash america on the northside for 3 years.maybe they should vist another pawn shop to see how its supposed to be done.

I had a great experience with the cleanest and most organized pawn shop I have ever visited. I was treat courteously and promptly by the staff who seemed to enjoy their jobs. I recommend visiting them and trusting them with your needs. I shopped several stores in the area and THEY ACTUALLY DID OFFER ME MORE FOR MY GOLD than their competitors!!!! Highly recommended!!
