Golden Anchor Bar

Like the other guy said, they have both cans and bottles, wine and random other specialty drinks. I don't know if they accept credit cards...but I know that many small neighborhood bars don't...so perhaps they don't either. Clientele is typically peaceful old fellers and good ol'boys and retired military. Great lil joint with competitive drink prices and specials.

Golden Anchor has been in business on Westside of Jax for over 20 years. GREAT PEOPLE AND GREAT OWNER. Bar has can beer, bottled beer, draft beer, bottled wine coolers as well as some specialty drinks and shots as well as wine by the glass. I have no idea why this negative person on the last comment posted it other than to discourage other bar patrons due probably for being rowdy and kicked out of bar. I am sure this bar will be here for many years to come. GREAT TIMES AT GOLDEN ANCHOR ! ! !

This is the most sorry excuse of a bar. They don't have draft beer or cocktails. In fact the don't have the ability to take credit cards. Everything is in cans. Cans that were bought from a store and you're paying 20% more than just buying it from the store your self. Do not go to this crappy place that poses as a bar.
