Gator City Taxi & Shuttle Service

My experience with The Gator City company was excellent. The very kind driver Paul took me from Jacksonville Airport to the One Ocean Resort and Spa. A colleague of his, Abraham was also very kind to me. I am a Canadian woman traveling alone and shall always remember their excellent service. Thank you.

RUDE RUDE RUDE! JUST WITNESSED A DRIVER ALMOST HIT A PEDESTRIAN! AS I CALLED TO COMPLAIN THE COMPANY HUNG UP ON ME!

We walked up and requested a taxi. He asked where so I told him the Hilton which is about 5 miles away. He then told me that there was a free shuttle service if I wanted that. I said no we would like a taxi. He then passed me to the next guy in line who really didn't want to take us to the hotel either. When he dropped us off I asked why the other driver didn't want to take us ? Was it because the hotel wasn't that far so he didn't think he would make much money? He smiled and said its ok ma'am. I will NEVER use them again even though we fly very often!

Not only will I never use this service again I Will not recommend. Not only was the driver rude but also unsafe as a driver. Took 3 calls while driving and then missed exit. Later I found out that he took the longest route to my destination at the cost of $ 96.09. Call Uber or rent a car and avoid the risk and frustration

DO NOT EVER USE THIS TAXI SERVICE EVER. I used this taxi service last night after the bar and dropped my $500 phone in the back. I called the cab service not even 2 minutes after he left. The phone got stolen. Dispatch "couldn't get a hold of the driver"... Then when they called back half an hour later, all they had to say was, "The driver looked he didn't have it." Even though nobody from the company other than the driver looked. Then when we called again to ask for them to look again, our number was blocked and we couldn't get through. We had to ask someone else to call for us. At the end of the night the "driver nor the cab had the phone". Again, DO NOT EVER USE THIS CAB SERVICE.

I waited 2hrs and kept calling they kept saying none of the driver's were picking up to come to my area...

I have not used these idiots,but instead was ran off of the road buy one. To be more specific the driver in the van number 4752. he came around me in traffic and literally if I hadnt swerved he would have clipped the front of my truck. I blew my horn at him and all I saw was the finger and he took off again. It took me over five miles to catch up with him and the only reason I did is because he got caught up In a cluster of traffic. I call the company to report him and all I got was an answering machine. I so wish I could have gotten him to stop. I have never seen such driving other than on the news in a high speed chase. This guy needs to be taken off the streets. If anyone else has experience from this cab number please reply.

Will never use these people again. The driver that took me to the JAX Airport was on the phone, texting and sending photos while driving and kept looking down on his phone while going extremely fast. He was also replying to his text messages while he drove. I was terrified and didn't give him any tip and I'll continue to post this review everywhere I see their company name. With the many deaths related to driving and texting this should never be allowed and companies should make sure their drivers are more responsible.

when i arrived from out of town. i called them.they told they would send a cab in 15 mins..so i waited 20mins.no cab a cab came but it wasn't mine.i called again , and was told 3 to 4 mins more.the lady i talk to said they tell all caller 15 mins. even though it not true .when i arrive there was 6 people waiting for a cabs.35 mins later still no cab.me and my child were alone at a closed station.in the dark.a bum pop up out of no where.help!!mined you were out in the middle of no where.i was hung up on.and finally got someone.who told me that my information hadn't not been take down at all.and she would have been the third person i talk to.it doesn't stop therei had cab take me a couple places only to have another cab driver tell me the other guy was take me the long way to ge more money out of me.so for love all heaven don't take this cab service.

I was assaulted by a Gator City Driver for now reason.



Someone told me that he said that if he had a gun he would shoot me. Fortunately I was only beat on the head with some object.



Apparently he was having a bad day.



Shortly after I heard that three passengers were assaulted.



I’m sure that he was not born in the US.



They have some very nice drivers but they have a lot that are not very nice.



Many drivers project an Anti-American Sentiment.



I would like to run a background check and check their prints against the National Crime Database.



I would be afraid to be a cab driver, they put their lives on the line but there are driver that are dangerous as well.



Stay away from Gator, they do not care…
