36yrs ago, the owner of this building owned & ran a convenience store located at 2950 Edgewood Ave N, Jacksonville, FL. 36yrs ago (1982) either he or one of his sons impregnated my mother & on June 1, 1983 my mother gave birth to me. For 32 out of 35yrs of my life, I never knew who my father was or what race/ethnicity I was mixed with. Until 2015 when I took a DNA test from 23&Me and from National Geographic. I have been told by several persons on my mothers side (my mother was black) that my father worked in the convenience store located at the above address at the time my mother got pregnant with me. The DNA test results from 3yrs ago has now confirmed that story. I have tried contacting individuals that are related to me via the 23&Me DNA relatives matches; one being a 2nd cousin match. In fact, after trying to contact a 3rd cousin match, he decided to change his youtube username in an attempt to hide his identity. Several other DNA matches gave me no response or have blocked me from contacting them. At the time that Mr. Joseph Waffa owned & ran the convenience store located at the address above, my mother lived in the apartments a block behind the convenience store. And my mother was impregnated by either the owner or one of his sons. They have shirked responsibility for 35yrs of my life... 35yrs of hiding, covering up, & denying the fact that I am their son, grandson, nephew & cousin! 35yrs of leaving me fatherless & subject to abuse, hatred, racism & isolation in my life. And after DNA tests has confirmed things, they continue to not want to acknowledge me.

It is time that the citizens of Jacksonville & the black community never again spend 1 dollar of your hard-earned money in THIS establishment or in any of these middle-eastern owned & ran stores/cafes/shops. Since these people have a 35yr old son, grandson, nephew & cousin that they continue to shirk responsibility & not want to acknowledge, lets hit them where it hurts them the most... In their wallets!!
