I was disappointed to learn that Dr. Collins was not licensed to use drugs like the one that dialates you eyes. As a result I did not make an appointment.

Both of my children use Gentle Molding and we could not be more PLEASED. My daughter has been using Gentle Molding from Dr. Collins for 10 YEARS now and we have had nothing but a POSITIVE experience. She started using them when she was 8 years old and is now 18 . My husband is severely nearsighted and had to wear the large coke bottle glass growing up and we did not want our daughter to have to wear them. She has 20/20 vision from the Gentle Molding and has never had to wear glasses or contacts. My son started wearing the Gentle Molding contacts when he was 9 and he is now 15. He LOVES them and also sees 20/20. It has been so great with sports for him not to have to wear glasses. We heard such horrible stories about Lasik surgery and never wanted something so risky and invasive done so Gentle Molding is perfect and proven safe. Regarding the other review listed here, I am shocked that they would speak so poorly of Dr. Collins! He has been so kind, professional and honest with us for over 18 years and has treated us wonderfully. It does take 2-3 nights to adjust to putting the contacts in and the way they feel but my 8 and 9 year olds did it with ease. So maybe the other reviewer did not give them enough time. I can only say extremely POSITIVE things about Dr. Collins and Gentle Molding. This has truly changed our children's lives for the better and its so convenient for them to put their Gentle Molding in at bedtime and wake up with 20/20 vision!
